Draft until chek-reader has a 0.1.0 tag. My session can't push tags, so the tag is Arya's to create on main at 62271bb (the merge of chek-reader#26):

git tag -a 0.1.0 62271bb -m "Chek Reader 0.1.0" && git push origin 0.1.0

Until then package resolution fails and CI is red, which is expected.

Before

The project took Chek Reader from branch: main. Any reader push could break the app's next build, and an App Store build wasn't reproducible: two builds a day apart could ship different reader code.

After

The project takes 0.1.0 up to the next minor, and Package.resolved records that tag's commit. Taking a new reader release is a deliberate bump. The README says how, and how to work against unreleased reader changes with a local package override.

How

The package requirement in project.pbxproj and the pin in Package.resolved, by hand, since Xcode isn't available in this session. CI's iOS build is the check.

Checks

  • The app builds for the iOS Simulator (CI, once the tag exists)
  • The README and AGENTS.md reflect any change to requirements, usage or conventions

Localizable.xcstrings was empty, so nothing in the app could be
translated and there was no record of its strings. It now lists every
key the code uses, with translator comments on the ones that are
ambiguous on their own, and InfoPlist.xcstrings covers the local network
usage description. Xcode keeps both up to date from here.

The iOS app check fails at package resolution: no version of chek-reader matches 0.1.0..<0.2.0, because the 0.1.0 tag doesn't exist yet. That's the one thing this PR waits on (it stays a draft until then). Nothing to fix here; once the tag is pushed, re-running the check is enough.

The 0.1.0 tag landed on 0abd128, after the release workflow merged,
not on the commit Package.resolved guessed before the tag existed.
