Walkthrough
The pull request updates shared tooling and application dependencies, migrates storefront code and guidance to React Router v8, changes Medusa configuration, and makes E2E startup use the port in the storefront URL when present.
Yarn, root dependency versions, Biome configuration, and Docker build tool versions are updated. Import and export declarations are reorganized across storefront files; the Medusa seed imports and review-response type are reformatted.
Storefront dependencies and type configuration are updated. Sentry uses its React Router integration, and route data access uses loaderData. Storefront guidance and examples target React Router v8.
Medusa dependencies and configuration apps/medusa/package.json, apps/medusa/tsconfig.json, apps/medusa/medusa-config.ts, apps/medusa/integration-tests/http/health.spec.ts
Medusa and related package versions are updated. The Redis workflow-engine option uses redisUrl; compiler types are specified, and the health-test runner no longer sets inApp.
E2E storefront port selection apps/e2e/package.json, apps/e2e/scripts/run-e2e.ts
The E2E script starts the storefront on the port parsed from E2E_STOREFRONT_URL, or on port 3000 when the URL has no explicit port.
Dependency installation now has fewer safeguards against untrusted or newly published packages. Review and narrow these settings before merging.

Honor the storefront URL's implicit port
When E2E_STOREFRONT_URL is an HTTP(S) URL without an explicit port, URL.port is empty, so this starts the storefront on port 3000 while the health check still targets the protocol default (80 or 443). For example, E2E_STOREFRONT_URL=http://127.0.0.1 causes every E2E run to time out despite the server running; derive the fallback from the URL protocol or ensure the health-check URL uses the selected port.

Fixed in 376cb90. When the URL has no explicit port, the fallback is now the protocol default (443 for https, 80 otherwise), so the dev server and the health check use the same port.

- Line 2: Replace the `"**"` wildcard in the `approvedGitRepositories`
configuration with the explicit Git repository URLs the project trusts, so Yarn
rejects dependencies from unapproved repositories.
- Line 4: Remove the global enableScripts override so Yarn 4.18 keeps install
scripts disabled by default, and use dependenciesMeta to approve install scripts
only for dependencies that require them.
- Line 8: Update the npmMinimalAgeGate setting in the Yarn configuration to
preserve the default one-day wait by removing the zero-value override or setting
a nonzero duration; use a targeted exception for any package that needs an
immediate update.

Allow install scripts only for required dependencies.
enableScripts: true runs third-party postinstall scripts throughout the dependency tree. Yarn 4.18 otherwise disables those scripts by default. If a dependency is compromised, an install can execute its script on developer and build machines. Keep the default and approve the packages that require scripts through dependenciesMeta. Fixed in 376cb90. I removed the override, so install scripts stay disabled by default. The packages that list scripts (esbuild, @swc/core, @parcel/watcher, msgpackr-extract, unrs-resolver, protobufjs, @medusajs/telemetry) all ship prebuilt binaries or only run informational scripts. With scripts disabled, I re-verified typecheck, build, the DB migrate and seed, the e2e smoke test, and both Docker builds, so I didn't add any dependenciesMeta allowances.
yarn set version wrote overrides that disabled Yarn 4.18's install-script
block, package age gate, and git repository allowlist. None are needed:
the packages listing build scripts all ship prebuilt binaries.
