Conversation
Preserve the bounded 1.x reference and its privacy safeguard while making released native tracing the default. Exercise the actual guide snippets against loopback provider and OTLP endpoints. Co-Authored-By: Claude Code <noreply@anthropic.com>

Summary
Make RubyLLM's released native OpenTelemetry integration the default setup. The previous guide required RubyLLM 1.x because its third-party patch crashes on current RubyLLM after a successful model response.
Validation
The regression tests execute the MDX snippets with released gems against loopback model and OTLP endpoints. They cover tool loops, streaming, errors, token usage, context, idempotent enablement, privacy, and protobuf export with plain/gzip bodies; JSON is checked as a wire-codec replay, not an advertised Ruby exporter mode. CI runs the native floor/current versions (2.1.0 and 2.1.1) on Ruby 3.2 and 3.4 with outbound networking disabled during tests.
The documentation build, integration catalog checks, link audit, and rendered native/legacy sections were also checked. No live provider or Future AGI Cloud execution is claimed.
