Summary

  • Implement and export Time::HiRes::stat, delegating stat result and context behavior to the shared runtime implementation.
  • Preserve fractional access, modification, and status-change timestamps when the filesystem provides them.
  • Add focused coverage for imported and qualified calls, scalar and list contexts, missing files, and file size.
  • Fixes Implement Time::HiRes::stat #1912, found in Daiku 1.004 during CPAN run 20261027-085020-3852.

Validation

  • nice -n 19 make passed on current master ed3fb02 plus this change.
  • Focused regression passed on JVM and interpreter backends.
  • Daiku 1.004 passed on system Perl, JVM, and interpreter: 20 files, 107 tests per run.
  • make check-links passed.

Register and export stat, delegate core behavior to the shared stat implementation, and preserve available sub-second file timestamps. Add system-Perl-validated regression coverage for both execution backends.

Fixes #1912.
