fcvm-fleet: pin admission-enforcing host and tile images - #723
The deployed GPU images ignore direct-viewer admission keys, preventing broadcast from being enabled safely. Pin the matching host and tile images containing fcvm#1425's scene authentication and direct admission enforcement.
Host: ami-02ac54ae25a2312f9, recipe67d383eacddea023cf63ace2a74b1ecb14ec4345, installed fcvm executable91f52a5a490230e96f34fb26185b102459c98255. Tile: ami-00a1fc37d63fbdad1, recipe67d383ea. Those source revisions have identical Rust agent/protocol and renderer source; later changes are phone/web only. Both images loaded the same renderer image ddc35c4740c541afe601908d0eadd37c18ad641047e619ed8845c24f8a3b3f1f.
Live provenance: both private x86_64/HVM images are owned by Fleet account (account hidden) in us-east-1. Actual uploaded recipe archives match six checked Git blobs; the immutable-versioned renderer archive digest matches the host build receipt, and its packaged renderer contains the admission/scene-token code. All tile bake stages and the host build/bake succeeded. Host snapshot completion and final image availability remain prerequisites to applying.
This is the image phase of #722. Broadcast remains disabled. The fleet is asleep with no viewers/claims/hosts at the read-only baseline. After applying the pins, wake it through the normal coordinator and verify new instance images plus scene authentication before the separate broadcast activation.
Validation: required CI passed on2415ddd and independent HIGH code/security review passed; the follow-up changes comments only to distinguish executable and recipe revisions. Final-head CI is running. No instance-type, network, storage-setting or IAM-action changes; the coordinator's existing image allowlist follows the pins. Draft #724 adds separate phone configuration and is left untouched.
ejc3/aws#717: This pull request replaces the tile AMI default introduced by PR #717.
Merge Risk: Moderate · up to 2415d
This change pins the fleet host and tile images to new AMIs that are meant to enforce scene authentication and direct-viewer admission. Nothing in the repository confirms that the images exist, are available, are owned by the expected account, or contain the expected build. Confirm those details and test an unauthorized direct connection before merging.

Applied the reviewed saved plan:0add/5change/0destroy, followed by an empty targeted plan. Live east1 template versions host11,tile9,on-demand-tile9,pool-tile6 point to the verified images. The controlled normal wake has launched one g4dn.metal and eight g4dn.xlarge tiles from those exact AMIs; renderer warm-up and scene-authentication checks are in progress. Broadcast remains disabled while fcvm#1430 and runtime verification finish. Full Terraform reconciliation will follow the final activation.
