feat: Collect dMSA patch prerequisites from domain controllers - #321
The dMSA analysis path needs authoritative domain-controller build data, typed dMSA collection output, and distinct access-control relationships. The existing collector library does not expose the required registry values, recognize delegated managed service accounts, or preserve the relevant attribute and creation rights.
Solution
I collect CurrentBuildNumber and UBR through the existing DC registry path. I preserve writes to msDS-SupersededManagedAccountLink and msDS-SupersededServiceAccountState as distinct relationships.
I also recognize msDS-DelegatedManagedServiceAccount objects, resolve msDS-ManagedAccountPrecededByLink, emit typed dmsas output, and produce CreateDMSA for valid create-child or generic-all rights on both organizational units and containers.
dotnet test test/unit/CommonLibTest.csproj --no-restore --filter "FullyQualifiedName~DMSA" (12 passed)
Full invariant-culture unit suite: 514 passed; the existing ConvertFileTimeToUnixEpoch_ValidTimestamp_ValidUnixEpoch date expectation remains the only failure

Walkthrough
The pull request adds DMSA object recognition, LDAP attribute collection, output data, and ACL edges. It also adds registry collection for domain controller build number and revision values.
The LDAP query requests the managed-account predecessor-link attribute. DMSA identifiers, output data, object detection, labeling, and display-name handling are added. Tests cover DMSA detection, resolution, and LDAP query attributes.
Emit DMSA and account ACL edges src/CommonLib/Enums/EdgeNames.cs, src/CommonLib/Processors/ACEGuids.cs, src/CommonLib/Processors/ACLProcessor.cs, test/unit/ACLProcessorTest.cs
ACL processing emits CreateDMSA for qualifying OU ACEs and adds write edges for the two superseded account attributes on User and Computer objects. Tests cover these edge mappings.
Domain Controller Build Metadata
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Collect and expose build metadata src/CommonLib/OutputTypes/Computer.cs, src/CommonLib/Processors/DCRegistryProcessor.cs, test/unit/DCRegistryProcessorTests.cs
DCRegistryData adds results for the current build number and revision. DCRegistryProcessor reads CurrentBuildNumber and UBR. Tests cover collected values, collection failure, and missing values.
Creation permissions on supported container parents remain missing from the new dMSA edge collection. Address that gap before merging unless the limited coverage is explicitly accepted.

Explanation
The title "feat: Collect dMSA patch prerequisites from domain controllers" matches the main change. The changeset adds CurrentBuildNumber and CurrentBuildRevision (UBR) collection through DCRegistryProcessor and DCRegistryData. It also adds write-property relationships for msDS-SupersededManagedAccountLink and msDS-SupersededServiceAccountState. The title names the domain-controller collection focus, but it does not mention the ACL relationship changes or the DMSA object model. The title is concise and specific enough for a teammate to understand the primary change.
Full details: Docstring Coverage
Explanation
Docstring coverage is 9.52% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 21 functions across 18 files.
Resolution
Write docstrings for the functions missing them to satisfy the coverage threshold.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description states the problem, solution, and testing, but it does not follow the repository template. It has no Types of changes selection, no Motivation and Context issue reference, no Checklist, and no Screenshots section. It links to SharpHound#235 and BloodHound#3583 but does not link the issue tracked in the template, which is SpecterOps/BloodHound#672. The Problem and Solution sections are substantive, so the description is mostly complete but misses template sections.
Resolution
Complete the template sections. Add a "This PR addresses:" line that references the issue, such as SpecterOps/BloodHound#672 or the correct issue for this change. Mark the applicable Types of changes box, most likely New feature. Add the Checklist items: contributing prerequisites, documentation review (OpenAPI docs and code comments), and test practices. Add the Screenshots section, or state that it does not apply.

I now report absent build values as collection failures instead of valid empty or zero data, with regression coverage for both registry values.

I addressed the latest schema-parent review in 09344aa: CreateDMSA now covers both organizationalUnit and container parents, matching systemPossSuperiors. The DMSA-focused suite passes 12/12 and the Release solution build completes with 0 errors. Build and Test run 40512290558 is waiting for maintainer approval. @JonasBK, could you approve that run and review this PR first in the three-PR sequence? Its merge to v4 will publish the dev package required by SpecterOps/SharpHound#235.

I now classify delegated managed service accounts separately, collect their predecessor links, and emit CreateDMSA rights from access controls on valid OU and container parents.
