Adds seven site-wide styles, with Zap Original's white background restored as the default and the former off-white palette available separately as Warm Kitchen. Choose a style in Explore or Settings → Appearance → Style. Style remains independent of Light/Dark/System.

Result and scope

• Zap Original light uses the original app's white page and neutral-gray surfaces. Warm Kitchen light preserves the previously reviewed off-white palette exactly. Both retain the existing Original dark palette.
• After Hours ’80s, Recipe Club ’90s, Recipe Box, Corner Diner and Sunday Market remain available site-wide.
• Shared surface, text, border, hover, focus and action roles apply throughout the drawer, feed, recipes, profiles, editors, modals, messages, kitchen tools, marketplace and membership/payment screens. Action backgrounds retain a readable foreground pair in dark mode.
• A same-origin controller applies preferences before paint, including SSR-disabled routes. Existing saved keys, mode selection, system changes and cross-tab updates remain supported; original and warm-kitchen are distinct saved choices.
• Stages 1 and 2 only. Existing layout, spacing, typography, content and workflows remain unchanged, apart from the approved Settings style selector. Explore's existing typography and decoration remain local. Provider branding, status/privacy meanings, media, QR contrast, print output and specialized artwork remain intentional exceptions. No new tracking, cookies or third-party requests.

The complete PR touches 213 palette consumer files and 18 foundation/control/test files. The white/Warm Kitchen adjustment changes only five of those files: shared palettes, controller allowlist, reusable picker and existing preference/contrast tests.

Verification

• Cloudflare Pages deployed successfully. The two separate Workers integrations still report failures and remain flagged for Cloudflare-log review.
• Latest commit 2d8c85da: all five GitHub Actions jobs pass (tests, type check, build, lint and feature-flag guard). The lint job intentionally soft-fails existing repository debt.
• 43 focused preference/store/contrast tests pass, including all seven styles in light and dark. All five adjusted files pass Prettier; changed JS/TS/Svelte files pass ESLint. Local type check: 0 errors and 124 existing warnings; Cloudflare production build passes.
• 36 focused browser states cover Original/Warm Kitchen × light/dark × Explore/Feed/Settings × 360/768/1440px. Each checks 53 root tokens. Warm Kitchen light and both dark variants exactly match the previously reviewed palette; Original light is white. Preference selection, actual client navigation, reload, cross-tab changes and independent mode selection pass.
• Eight Feed/Settings contrast scans and four visible sign-in scans report zero violations. Axe's incomplete results are disclosed in the report; the actual sign-in gradient is additionally checked at 1,001 points, with minimum 5.50:1 contrast.
• Built Explore HTML contains Warm Kitchen and preserves existing cached runtime SSR (prerender=false), cache policy and no app hydration. Built Messages/nested profile responses retain the prepaint controller, correct asset paths and cache revalidation.
• The initial migration verification remains applicable to unchanged consumers: 184 relevant tests, 216 responsive/style observations, 588 matched shell elements without unintended geometry/font changes, real shared-component and portal checks, and QR/print invariants. The per-file consumer scope report records the strict source comparison; the latest adjustment touches shared foundation/control/test files only.

Browser evidence uses Chromium and actual local source with external content blocked, so screenshots show signed-out/loading/unavailable-data states. Live authenticated workflows, native packaging, Safari/VoiceOver, physical QR scanning and printing were not exercised. Existing 360px header clipping remains outside this color-only scope. The Cloudflare deployment checks report preview status; direct preview access from this workspace is blocked by its network proxy.
