🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Map body-read failures to RpcError in clientStream.
request maps only failures that happen before the response headers arrive. The AbortSignal.timeout signal also aborts the response body. A body-read failure inside frames(response) can be a timeout, a network drop, or an abort. In clientStream, that failure propagates as a raw DOMException or TypeError. serverStream already maps these failures in Lines 216-222, but every unary call skips that mapping. As a result, a slow Execute or ReadBlob reply that times out mid-body is not reported as Code.DEADLINE_EXCEEDED. Callers that branch on RpcError.code then classify the failure incorrectly, and describe() shows a browser message such as "signal timed out".

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Video posters never load.
previewOf substitutes the preview URL only when media.mime starts with image/. A video has a video/* MIME type, so previewOf(media) returns media itself. Then poster !== media is false and useMedia gets null. The poster image therefore never shows, even when metadata.preview_url is set. Build the poster media directly from the preview URL.

Block re-entry into submit while a call is in flight.
The footer button is disabled through loading={busy}. The form's hidden submit button is not disabled. If the user presses Enter in an input while busy is true, submit runs again. For an action, both calls reuse operation.current, so the server can deduplicate them. For a non-action function, the call runs twice. This includes uploads in toValue, which send the same files twice. Return early when a submission is already running.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Stop waiting when the user closes the OAuth popup without finishing.
When the user closes the popup without completing sign-in, the promise waits the full 10 minutes. During that time cancel_login is not called, and no toast appears. After the timeout, the code reports "Sign-in didn't finish." The pending login on the server also stays open until then. Poll popup.closed and resolve with null when it becomes true. If the popup closes after the callback posted its message, the message has already resolved the promise, so polling is safe.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Day differences are not whole numbers across a daylight saving time (DST) change.
(startOfDay(now) - startOfDay(ms)) / 86_400_000 assumes every day has 24 hours. If a DST transition falls between the two dates, that span contains a 23-hour or 25-hour day. The result is then a value such as 0.958 or 1.042.
The effects:
- In
formatDay,days === 1fails, so the day divider shows a full date instead of "Yesterday". days === 0can also fail.- In
formatStamp,days <= 0can misclassify the boundary.
Round the difference.
