Testing the changes

I tested the changes in this PR: YES.
Tested (on x86_64-glibc) by compiling avr-libc and other C code made to run on AVR.
./xbps-src -Q pkg avr-gcc: all tests passed.

Local build testing

I built this PR locally for my native architecture: x86_64-glibc
I built this PR locally for these architectures (if supported. mark crossbuilds):
- armv6l-glibc (crossbuild)
- i686-glibc (crossbuild)
