A stdio install that omitted the variable fell back to the https://tribeunal.test/api dev host, which no npm user can reach, so every install surface had to mark it required. Default to https://tribeunal.com/api (unset or empty) so a local install needs only TRIBEUNAL_API_KEY. server.json marks it isRequired: false, and the README, llms-install.md and claude-config-example.json snippets drop it. Dev runs keep setting it explicitly (.env.example, evals/dev-mcp.example.json); the eval harness keeps its own tribeunal.test fallback. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
https://tribeunal.test/api/docs resolves only on a developer machine; https://tribeunal.com/api/docs is the public page. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The summary still described the first stdio-only build: 39 tools under their 1.x names (get_vote_stats, get_current_user, the jury_duty_* set, set_side_image), a project tree without core/, worker/, skills/ or tests/, a dev-host base URL, OAuth client-id variables only a dead module reads, a callTool() signature the SDK does not have, and "publish to npm" as a next step. Describe what ships: one 41-tool surface over the stdio and hosted remote transports, the Agent Skills, the real environment contract (API key required, base URL optional and defaulting to production), the node:test suite and the tag-driven release. Every tool name and path in the file was checked against TOOL_DEFINITIONS and the tree. List SUMMARY.md among the surfaces the pinned tool-count test names, which is how it was missed at 39. Minor release: no tool added, removed or renamed. - TRIBEUNAL_API_BASE_URL is optional and defaults to the production API. - AI personas are shown by display name (merged in #17, never released). - README notes the base-URL override; CHANGELOG rolled from Unreleased and given the missing display-name entry. Bumps the nine version pins: package.json + lock, src/index.ts, worker/src/mcp-agent.ts, server.json (x2), gemini-extension.json, openclaw.plugin.json and .claude-plugin/{plugin,marketplace}.json. Release 2.1.0
Minor release. No tool was added, removed or renamed — the 41-tool surface of 2.0.0 is unchanged.
Changed
TRIBEUNAL_API_BASE_URLis optional. The stdio server defaults tohttps://tribeunal.com/apiwhen the variable is unset or empty. It used to fall back to thehttps://tribeunal.test/apidev host, which no npm user can reach, so every install surface had to mark the variable required. A local install now needs onlyTRIBEUNAL_API_KEY.server.json:isRequired: false(thedefaultwas already the production URL).llms-install.md,claude-config-example.json: snippets no longer set it; the README and thellms-install.mdtable note it as an optional override..env.example,evals/dev-mcp.example.json); the eval harness keeps its owntribeunal.testfallback. The Worker is untouched (its var lives inwrangler.jsonc).Added
display_name/displayName/actorDisplayName) — merged in feat(tools): surface the API's display_name for AI personas #17 after the 2.0.0 tag and never released; this PR adds its missing CHANGELOG entry.Docs
SUMMARY.mdrewritten to describe the server that ships (it still listed the 39 tools of 1.x), and added to the surfaces the pinned tool-count test names.docs/examples.mdlinks the production API docs instead of the dev host.Version pins (nine files)
package.json+ lock,src/index.ts,worker/src/mcp-agent.ts,server.json(×2),gemini-extension.json,openclaw.plugin.json,.claude-plugin/{plugin,marketplace}.json.Verification
tests/from-env.test.ts— watched fail against the dev-host fallback, passes now.npm run build, npm run test:unit(238/238),npm pack --dry-run(2.1.0, 104 files), Workertsc --noEmit: all green..env, no key and the variable unset connects totribeunal.com(unset and empty); an explicithttps://tribeunal.test/apistill wins. After merge
