Full summary

Pull request purpose (title): chore(deps): bump tinytools and tinystoragedrivers to released versions. This pull request bumps the pinned git revisions of tinytools to 41cc80ac9acf37a14f20be94f60ee552749f1540 (v0.6.0) and of the three tinystoragedrivers crates to bf1f0a9 (v2.1.1), with Cargo.lock refreshed accordingly. No findings were raised in any answered lane. The description's claim of clean local CI was not independently verified by any trusted check evidence here.

Completeness: Complete
Test assessment: No supported feature-to-test mapping was available; this does not mean tests are absent or passed.

What changed

The workspace dependency table in Cargo.toml now points tinytools at full SHA 41cc80ac and tinystoragedrivers-types, -api, and -testkit at abbreviated rev bf1f0a9, replacing the prior pins; Cargo.lock was refreshed to match.

Features

  • Modified — tinytools git pin bump to 41cc80ac (v0.6.0): Workspace consumers resolve tinytools from the new revision; the pin is a full 40-character SHA and remains immutable. (Cargo.toml uuid = { version = "1", features = ["v4"] })
  • Modified — tinystoragedrivers git pin bump to bf1f0a9 (v2.1.1): tinystoragedrivers-types, -api, and -testkit now resolve from bf1f0a9, but the rev is abbreviated, so Cargo resolves it to whatever commit it currently prefixes and the pin is no longer immutable — a reproducibility concern noted by the security lane rather than a demonstrated defect. (Cargo.toml uuid = { version = "1", features = ["v4"] })

Tests

No supported feature-to-test mapping was produced. Test execution is not inferred.

Findings

No active actionable findings.

critique

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: The change bumps three git dependency pins, and Cargo.lock is consistent with the new revisions (tinystoragedrivers at rev=bf1f0a9, tinytools at rev=41cc80ac…). I found no defect introduced by this diff: version requirements, licence/allow-git configuration, and lockfile sources all line up.

security

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Positive: No attacker-controlled input path, permission widening, or repository-rule violation was found; allowed git sources in deny.toml are unchanged.
  • Lane summary: The change only bumps pinned git revisions for `tinytools` and the three `tinystoragedrivers` crates in the root workspace dependency table, moving from a 40-character SHA to an 8-character abbreviated one. Cargo accepts abbreviated revisions but resolves them to whatever commit they currently prefix, so the pin is no longer immutable; still, that is a reproducibility concern rather than a concrete defect I can demonstrate from the diff, and the allowed git sources in `deny.toml` are unchanged. I found no attacker-controlled input path, permission widening, or violation of the repository rules quoted here.

tests

  • Conclusion: Neutral
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Lane summary: No behavioural change: nothing outside documentation, configuration and tests.

description

  • Conclusion: Success
  • Scope reviewed: all assigned evidence
  • Positive: The title and body accurately describe a dependency bump, and nothing significant in the diff is left unmentioned.
  • Lane summary: The change bumps the `tinytools` git rev to 41cc80a and the three `tinystoragedrivers` git revs to bf1f0a9, with Cargo.lock refreshed accordingly — the body and title describe exactly this. The description is a short, accurate account of a dependency bump, and the diff contains nothing significant it fails to mention; nothing here is unsafe to merge.
