Make the existing Pi extension publishable as @agentmemory/pi, include its license, and replace incomplete manual-copy instructions with package installation and migration guidance.

Validated the packed archive with Pi 1.4.0 through a local npm registry and a scripted model against real AgentMemory: install/update/remove, memory tools, recall/capture, reload/restart, and unavailable-server responses. Full suite: 3,869 passed, 4 skipped. npm publication remains a separate release step.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • The Pi integration is available as a distributable package, with installation options from a checkout, through the package registry, or via agentmemory connect pi.
    • Added a command to create a package archive, and included the license with the package.
  • Documentation
    • Updated setup guidance with installation, reload, and status-check steps, including a reminder to use only one installation method.
    • Clarified credential lookup for loopback connections and how to provide credentials when connecting to remote servers.

🟡 Pi archive command fails on Windows

On Windows, plugin:pack:pi stops at mkdir -p before creating an archive. npm runs scripts through cmd.exe, which does not support that flag.

Install the package from an agentmemory checkout:

```bash
mkdir -p ~/.pi/agent/extensions/agentmemory
cp integrations/pi/index.ts ~/.pi/agent/extensions/agentmemory/index.ts
pi install ./integrations/pi
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Tell users to keep the checkout after a local install.
Pi loads pi install ./integrations/pi from the checkout path; it does not copy the package. If a user removes the checkout after installation, Pi can no longer load the extension. Add a note to keep the checkout in place, or use the npm package or connect pi for an installation independent of the checkout. (pi.dev)
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Make the archive command work on native Windows.
The documented command calls the root plugin:pack:pi script, which begins with mkdir -p dist/plugins. Native Windows npm scripts use cmd.exe, where this directory-creation command is not portable. Replace it with a Node-based directory-creation step or provide a Windows-compatible script.
Update the root `plugin:pack:pi` script so its directory-creation step works in
native Windows `cmd.exe`, using a Node-based or otherwise Windows-compatible
approach. Preserve the existing archive-packaging flow invoked by the documented
command.
