[Feature Request] Add Shizuku support for silent app updates (especially for pre-releases) #3253
I would like to request the addition of Shizuku support as an installation and update method within Cloudstream.
Currently, updating Cloudstream—especially when using the frequently updated pre-release versions—requires manually downloading the APK and going through the system installation prompt every time. Having a silent update option via Shizuku would significantly improve the user experience.
What is Shizuku?
Shizuku is a tool that allows apps to use system-level APIs with root-like privileges (via adb or root) without actually requiring a fully rooted device. It runs securely in the background and lets authorized apps perform privileged tasks, such as package installation and updates, completely in the background without user intervention for each step.

Inspiration / Example
A great reference for this implementation is Droid-ify (or similar modern package managers). Droid-ify successfully utilizes Shizuku to install and update applications silently in the background without popping up the system installation confirmation dialog every single time.
Why this is beneficial for Cloudstream
Frequent Pre-Releases: Cloudstream pre-releases receive updates often. Manually downloading and clicking through the package installer gets repetitive very quickly.
Seamless Experience: Users with Shizuku set up could update the app with a single tap (or even automatically), mirroring the convenience of mainstream app stores.
Optional Feature: This can be implemented as an optional setting alongside the traditional in-app updater, only activating if Shizuku is running and granted permission.
Thank you for your hard work on Cloudstream! Let me know what you think about this idea.

My suggestion is NOT about adding a new provider
I have searched the existing issues and this is a new ticket, NOT a duplicate or related to another open issue.
Does Shizuku implement granular permissions? Otherwise this feature would create a dangerous privilege escalation opportunity for malicious extensions.

iirc it is just one prompt and if granted it gives adb permissions, so no granularity.
It is possible to achieve reasonably seamless updates by using another app for updates (like aforementioned droidify or obtainium). furthermore, on A12+ devices seamless updates are also already supported via UPDATE_PACKAGES_WITHOUT_USER_ACTION.
The risks associated with Shizuku support mostly outweigh the benefits.
