deltasignal specs/053, registered before this code (deltasignal commits d0a2808 + amendment 1 a807851).

A node fed only by its own release from a complex it was bound into (a closed recycling copy) is merged into the one node with the identical nodes.csv identity that has another producer. Traced case: the SPRED dimer:NF1 RAS GAP, which an NF1 knockout cannot reach today. Several fed twins → left alone and counted (merging all would be the silo bridge).

  • src/closed_twin_join.py: find_joins, apply_joins (pure).
  • Hooked after create_pathway_logic_network, before any table is written; closed_twin_joins.csv records joins (empty when off).
  • node_rows() factored out of export_nodes so the join uses the exported identity.
  • Default off; flag off is byte-equivalent apart from the new empty table.

Draft until the deltasignal arm (cj vs cj0) is read against the registered gate.

…ts one fed identity twin

deltasignal specs/053 (registered before this code). A node fed only by its own
release from a complex it was bound into is merged into the one node with the
same nodes.csv identity that has another producer, so a perturbation of the
protein reaches the cycle (traced: SPRED dimer:NF1 RAS GAP, unreachable from an
NF1 knockout). Several fed twins: left alone and counted. Joined before any table
is written; closed_twin_joins.csv records the joins (empty when off).
node_rows() is factored out of export_nodes so the join uses the exported identity.

Measured in deltasignal specs/053 R1: not adopted (curator held-out −493, DSB −488). Left unmerged as the record; flag would expire under the specs/020 policy.
