A personal learning repository for PHP — code snippets, exercises, mini-projects, notes, and resources.
I'll push whatever I learn about PHP here so I can refer back, show progress, and build a portfolio.
- Full form: PHP stands for "Hypertext Preprocessor".
- History: Originally, in 1994, PHP stood for "Personal Home Page" when it was created by Rasmus Lerdorf. As it evolved into a powerful server-side scripting language, the name became a recursive acronym: PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor.
- A place to store PHP examples, small projects, exercises, and notes.
- Learn-by-doing: each folder contains a short description and runnable code.
- Track progress with a simple learning log.

- macOS (Homebrew):
brew install php - Windows: install from php.net or use XAMPP/WAMP

php path/to/script.php- For web examples, use PHP’s built-in server: php -S localhost:8000 -t public/ then open http://localhost:8000
