Brings the version-bump branch cleanup to main:

  • .github/workflows/release.yml — the publish job now deletes release/vX.Y.Z once the version it carried is live, so bump branches stop accumulating.
  • docs/releasing.md — the note records that, how to clean up an unmerged bump PR by hand, and why the repo must not enable GitHub's "automatically delete head branches" (it deletes a merged PR's head branch, and the trunk sync is a develop → main PR — it would delete develop).

Generated with Qwen Code (26-shotted by Qwen-Coder)

The prepare job pushed release/vX.Y.Z and nothing ever removed it, so one
accumulated per release. The repository now auto-deletes head branches on
merge; record that, so nobody hunts for the missing branch or cleans up
by hand. Also note the unmerged-PR case, which still needs a manual
delete.
* docs(release): note that the bump branch is deleted on merge

* fix(release): delete the version-bump branch after publishing

The prepare job pushes release/vX.Y.Z and nothing removed it, so one
branch accumulated per release. The publish job now deletes it once the
version it carried is live.

GitHub's "automatically delete head branches" setting is deliberately
NOT used: it deletes a merged PR's head branch, and the trunk sync is a
develop -> main PR, so enabling it would delete develop on every sync.
That is recorded in the runbook so nobody turns it on.
