I build things across C++, TypeScript, AI, and infrastructure.
I enjoy making systems from scratch, exploring how models work, and occasionally overengineering side projects for fun.
I'm a developer who likes working in the space between low-level systems and high-level products.
Right now, I'm especially interested in:
- C++ / engine architecture
- AI, LLMs, and Transformer-related topics
- Backend development and developer tooling
- Linux, Docker, and self-hosted infrastructure
- Building things that are both practical and fun
Outside of programming, I like anime, visual novels, and rhythm games — especially osu! and maimai.

Work in progress. An ML-powered simai chart generator for maimai. The pipeline separates musical timing from chart generation, uses a typed chart representation, and validates exported charts against an explicit compatibility profile.
Work in progress. A modern visual novel engine ecosystem built around C++20, with the runtime currently under active development. The long-term plan goes beyond the engine itself, with tooling such as PrismatiX Studio and a broader authoring workflow planned for the future.
Work in progress. A self-hosted osu! community server for stable and lazer, with a customizable Next.js player website, Rust backend services, and a dedicated launcher. It brings accounts, beatmaps, scores, replays, rankings, and chat together in one deployment.
A project from my hosting and infrastructure days, built around server management and the SHD Cloud ecosystem.
An AI-related project exploring model systems, tooling, and practical AI applications.
A web platform built for the Student Association of Hsinchu Senior High School, focused on modernizing campus services with a cleaner architecture and user experience.
A lightweight and fast Telegram AI chatbot built with TypeScript, grammY, Vercel AI SDK, PostgreSQL, and Drizzle.
A small browser-based tool for rendering LaTeX equations into high-resolution PNG images, with live KaTeX preview, customizable styling, and scalable image export.
A Telegram-powered publishing workflow for static blogs. It turns a private Telegram chat into a mobile-first authoring interface for drafting, previewing, and publishing Git-backed blog posts. Currently tailored to the content workflow behind owen0924.com.
A modern Online Judge frontend for the Hsinchu Senior High School Computer Software Development Club, built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui, with both the public OJ interface and administration features.
An interactive visualization project for exploring Transformer self-attention, with a p5.js frontend and a PyTorch / FastAPI / Transformers backend, inspired by BertViz.
