Rename the distribution and command from
ngraph-simtonetlab-sim, and the Python package fromngraph_simtonetlab_sim. Update imports, packaging, debug/plugin hooks, adapter metadata, documentation, tests and benchmark scripts together. Simulation results, PRNG v1 sequences and historical records are preserved. The old namespace and entry points are removed; pickles qualified with
ngraph_simno longer load. Bound dev pytest below 9.2 so pytest-benchmark 5.3 fixtures work in fresh environments.Validation:
make check-ci,make check-ft, wheel/sdist builds andtwine check, clean wheel/VCS installs, CLI/API smoke checks, and unchanged PRNG known answers and representative simulation outputs. CI passed on Python 3.11–3.14 and free-threaded 3.14.Existing integration limit: the optional scenario adapter requires NetGraph with
Scenario.run(). The base and candidate fail the same scenario checks against NetGraph versions without that method.
