I've spent much of my career working on large-scale computing infrastructure for big data and machine learning, spanning distributed systems, performance, efficiency, capacity, and infrastructure strategy at Google, Apple, and Facebook. My other long-standing interests include data, optimization, mathematics, and open source.
I still enjoy building things at much smaller scales. Lately that has meant Raspberry Pi, computer vision, FreeBSD/Linux, and projects that make technical ideas approachable to kids.
