I'm currently studying to become an industrial electrician. I've always been interested in figuring out how things work and why they don't work when something breaks. I like troubleshooting stuff, taking things apart and messing around until I understand what's actually going on.

I've spent quite a lot of time doing OSDev, mostly because I like working close to the hardware and figuring out how all the little pieces fit together.
I really like C. To me it's kind of the perfect language. Not too complicated, not too simple. It's pretty low level when you want it to be, but you can still get stuff done without fighting the language all the time.
I guess that's also why I like working with electrical systems. I enjoy troubleshooting something that doesn't work, following the problem, and eventually figuring out what went wrong.
I love Unix, low level programming and just messing around with computers to see what happens.
