01 // ABOUT

I'm João, a computer science student who likes understanding what happens underneath the abstractions.

Most of my time goes into writing software, messing with Linux, learning networking and figuring out why something works the way it does.

I don't really like copying solutions.
I'd rather build it, break it, debug it and understand what happened.

02 // CURRENTLY

C#

My main language.

Currently focused on backend development, APIs, architecture, CLI tools and understanding the .NET ecosystem beyond the surface.

Rust

My secondary language.

Learning ownership, concurrency, networking and systems programming without hiding too much behind abstractions.

Linux

A lot of experimenting with systems, processes, networking, services and the things that usually stay invisible to the average application.

Networking

TCP/IP, HTTP, sockets, ARP, packet capture and network programming.

Mostly learning by actually putting packets on the wire.
