Custom notifcation sound option missing on OneUi 8.5

For some reason, I am unable to change the notification sound on the latest version of OneUI.
I’ve looked into previous issues, such as #36 and #109, where it was suggested that the solution for using a custom sound was to configure it via system settings. While that is a perfectly reasonable approach, OneUI does not appear to provide an option to customize this at the system level. However, I believe apps are still able to define their own notification sounds.

Would you be open to me making a PR to implement this, or is there an existing solution I might have missed? please let me know.

Have a look at the steps listed here: #442 (comment) maybe they enable the notification sound option.
