Rose::HTML::Objects t/form-nested.t fails with nested field names and values #1851
Rose::HTML::Objects test t/form-nested.t still fails under PerlOnJava after the fix in #1785. PR #1848 is closed, so this remaining failure needs a separate follow-up.
Reproduction
Run:
./jcpan -t Rose::HTML::Objects
On the tested checkout, 50 of 51 test programs passed. t/form-field-checkbox-group.t and t/object-l10n.t passed; t/form-nested.t failed.
Observed failure
Nested form field monikers/names expected to be prefixed (for example person.age) were unprefixed (age, address.city). Values expected for the person fields were undefined, followed by:
Can't call method "strftime" on an undefined value at t/form-nested.t line 129
The test reported 7 failed subtests and aborted after 44 tests, before its planned 181.
Notes
This is an observed CPAN failure; it has not yet been verified against the base branch. A system-Perl comparison was attempted but could not run because the environment lacks dependencies including Clone::PP and Rose::DateTime::Util.
Fixed in PR #1881. Rose::HTML::Objects 0.627 passed all 51 files / 2,371 tests; t/form-nested.t passed 181/181 after the merge, and the new nested argument lifetime regression passed on standard Perl, JVM, and interpreter. Closing.
