The v1.1.2 release run failed at the govulncheck step (https://github.com/etherscan/etherscan-cli/actions/runs/39386587091). go1.25.13 is affected by 9 standard-library vulnerabilities that the code reaches:

  • net/http: GO-2026-6603, GO-2026-6605, GO-2026-6610, GO-2026-6611, GO-2026-6612, GO-2026-6613, GO-2026-6617
  • net/textproto: GO-2026-6608
  • crypto/tls: GO-2026-6607

All are fixed in go1.26.9, and Go 1.25 has no patched release (the latest, go1.25.14, is not listed as a fix). This moves toolchain to the latest 1.26 patch, go1.26.10. The go 1.25.0 minimum stays the same.

go vet ./... and go test ./... pass locally on go1.26.10. The govulncheck job in CI confirms the scan is clean.

govulncheck in the v1.1.2 release run flagged GO-2026-6603, -6605, -6607,
-6608 and -6610 to -6617 (net/http, net/textproto, crypto/tls), fixed in
go1.26.9. Go 1.25 has no patched release for them.
