Computer Science senior at UTRGV · builder of full-stack apps, RL agents and LLM tools
I'm finishing a B.S. in Computer Science (minor in Electrical Engineering) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, graduating Fall 2026. I like projects that end up running for real people: a clinic system, a flower shop's storefront, a credit ledger for a handbag seller. I also like the ones that push hardware, like teaching a scale RC car to drive or squeezing a 35B model onto a 10 GB GPU.
I run everything from a self-hosted home lab (20+ Docker containers, zero open ports) at dylantamayo.dev.

Tool-calling agents built with the OpenAI Agents SDK and OmniAgents: poker-player-agent (Monte Carlo equity), pc-builder-agent (PSU and compatibility checks), Accessibility_Audit_Agent (WCAG 2.1 AA audits) and CFO-Copilot-Demo. An earlier reinforcement-learning trader lives in Crypto-Prophet-AI.

I ship a lot of my projects by directing coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Roo Code, OmniAgents) with repo specs, custom skills, MCP tools and parallel git worktrees, and I gate the results with tests.
I'm a Lead Trailblazer at UTRGV. In 2026 I was elected lead of the Second Year Experience cluster, where I supervise a team of four. On the side I built a Power Apps merit store and an Excel/VBA ledger for the team.
