Python's Most Starred On 💕GitHub💕

You can check out this view!

Project Description 📜

The script python_repos.py checks GitHub for the most starred python repositories by communicating with GitHub's API and renders the result to an SVG file using Pygal. The SVG file can be visualized in a browser as a Bar-Chart.

This project was made in a bid to participate in MLH Local Hack Day Hackaton 2018 hosted by GitHub.

How to use the script 📕.

  1. You'll need to have python installed on your machine and you have to be connected to the internet.

  2. Run the following command python python_repos.py in your interpreter.

  3. The SVG file will be generated and you can view the graphical output using your browser 🍷
