Scope

Record the passing three-seed corrected continuous-heading source and public physical Python gates from merged #635 in PARITY.md. Keep the original published one-degree held-heading case qualified while the corrected input is maintained as a derived control in wec-sim-python.

Evidence

  • Three-seed full-duration CI passes the predeclared 0.01/0.005 s source-stability and matched 0.005 s physical gates.
  • Source self-changes reach at most 2.07e-5 rad yaw, 4.77e-6 rad/s speed, 0.573 N m torque, and 0.00654% work.
  • Independently advanced Python differs from the matched source by at most 8.27e-6 rad yaw, 1.90e-6 rad/s speed, 0.228 N m torque, less than 1e-13 m wave, and 0.00303% work.
  • Continuous coefficient interpolation has no discrete held-heading event sequence. The original published one-degree hold remains numerically unstable and qualified.

Documentation only; git diff --check passes.
