test: make the Bun test run pass by probing capabilities - #437

Bun differs from Node in ways the suite depended on. Tests that need a patched builtin to reach the library (syncBuiltinESMExports is a no-op in Bun) or an emptied PATH to block a spawn now skip through capabilities measured at collection time, with guard tests that fail if a capability is missing anywhere but Bun. grammar-load-failure mocks by absolute path (oven-sh/bun#43685), worker-teardown asserts Bun's behavior when gc is unavailable, and the mcp-daemon PID-reuse test compares the indexed content instead of file bytes, since a checkpoint can fold WAL frames back into the main file without changing any row. Bun differences reported upstream: oven-sh/bun#44947 (readdirSync order) and oven-sh/bun#44948 (empty PATH).
A read-only connection cannot recover a killed writer's WAL on Windows, so the content comparison fails there with a disk I/O error. Node and Windows keep the byte comparison; only Bun compares indexed content.

73-73: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winInclude ordered node rows in the Bun database snapshot.
The snapshot records only the node count. A fallback-read regression that updates an existing node can leave the row count and captured file fields unchanged. Include ordered node rows so the PID-reuse test detects that mutation.
Suggested fix
- const nodes = db.prepare('SELECT count(*) AS n FROM nodes').get(); + const nodes = db.prepare('SELECT * FROM nodes ORDER BY id').all();🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

What
Makes
npm run test:bunpass. Before this change 19 tests failed under Bun; the Node run was already green.npm test)npm run test:bun)Bun skips 15 more tests than Node: 14 are new capability skips, one was skipped before (oven-sh/bun#42891).
How
__tests__/helpers/runtime-capabilities.tsmeasures two behaviours at collection time instead of checking the runtime name: whether patching a builtin reaches importers (syncBuiltinESMExports, a no-op in Bun, fix open as fix(node:module): synchronize builtin ESM exports oven-sh/bun#42616) and whether an emptiedPATHblocks a spawn. 14 tests skip on those.runtime-capabilities.test.tsfails if either is missing anywhere but Bun, so a skip cannot spread to Node.grammar-load-failuremocks by absolute path. Bun printsat mockwhere V8 printsat Object.mock, which breaks vitest's importer lookup for relativevi.mockpaths in nested tests (Bun fails to mock with Vitest for tests in sub directory (works with Node) oven-sh/bun#43685). All six tests pass on both runtimes.worker-teardownasserts Bun's behaviour whengcis unavailable; the V8 branch is unchanged.mcp-daemon(PID-reuse test) compared raw database bytes after a killed writer. Under Bun a checkpoint sometimes folds WAL frames into the main file (two pages, no row changes), which failed the test about one run in eight. Bun now compares the indexed content through a read-only connection; Node and Windows keep the byte comparison (a read-only connection cannot recover the WAL on Windows).readDirEntriesand the helper comments link the two Bun issues filed from this work: fs.readdirSync returns names in filesystem order; Node returns them sorted oven-sh/bun#44947 (readdirSyncorder) and child_process treats process.env.PATH = "" as unset and still finds the binary; Node fails with ENOENT oven-sh/bun#44948 (emptyPATH).README rows checked
"About this fork" Node-or-Bun paragraph: updated the skip count and links. No other row or number moves; no runtime code changes.
