Summary

Updates integration packaging so API dependency selection is safe, explicit and appropriate for each build type.

Changes

  • Dev builds now use the newest published aioWiserHeatAPI prerelease that is newer than the released API pin.
  • If no suitable API prerelease is available, or PyPI cannot be checked, dev builds retain the API version pinned in the source manifest.
  • Added --use-installed-api for testing with a manually installed local API wheel.
    • This removes the API requirement only from the generated package.
    • The source manifest is never modified.
  • Prevented --use-installed-api from being combined with --release.
  • Final release builds always retain the released API pin from the source manifest.
  • Removed use of the API GitHub dev branch from generated packages.
  • Updated the build documentation, changelog and CLI help.

Build examples

# Normal dev build: API prerelease with released-pin fallback
python3 scripts/build.py --channel dev

# Local API testing: use the API already installed in Home Assistant
python3 scripts/build.py --channel dev --use-installed-api

# Integration prerelease using published frontend assets
python3 scripts/build.py --release --channel dev

# Final release using the pinned released API
python3 scripts/build.py --release --channel stable## Summary
