Manual Firefox tab routing could silently revert after a background restart, CLI updates could fail after rate-limit backoff, and Chromium's early startup request cache could keep growing after tabs closed.
Validation: lint and build passed; all 205 unit tests passed. Browser tests excluding Docker/MegaProxyServer: 231 passed, 14 skipped, one Chromium scenario failed with ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR while opening the local HTTPS fixture before proxy activation; that scenario then passed three consecutive runs without changes. MegaProxyServer tests could not run locally because the Docker daemon is unavailable.
