Summary

Reusable plugins move to allagentsdev/agent-plugins#1, while the CLI and workspace templates remain here. The four reusable plugin@allagentsdev/allagents declarations forward to the new catalogue; new templates use plugin@allagentsdev/agent-plugins. The CLI-specific allagents plugin stays local and retains allagents@allagentsdev/allagents.

Merge agent-plugins#1 first. Its default branch currently contains only the bootstrap README. This PR removes 16 plugin files from this repository: 14 move to the catalogue, while the redundant worktree skill and shell script are retired because the owner uses Herdr. The interactive review test moves with its implementation. The two CLI-specific AllAgents plugin files remain unchanged here. PR #560 is already merged, and its financial-modeling guidance and example XLSX are preserved in the destination.

Changes

• Keep both legacy native marketplace manifests named allagents, forwarding the four reusable plugins with Claude git-subdir and Copilot github sources and preserving the local AllAgents guidance entry. New catalogue registrations use the distinct name agent-plugins.
• Preserve external source subdirectories and branch/tag refs for online resolution, offline caches and skill updates. Failed external fetches do not fall back to local same-name content. Reject escaping paths and unsupported raw SHA pins for file installs instead of silently changing their meaning.
• Distinguish sibling plugins in the same repository when adding plugins, while preserving direct-skill promotion within a single plugin's skills tree.
• Preserve best-effort third-party catalogue listing: an unsupported sibling does not disable a valid selected plugin. Invalid selected sources fail instead of appearing removed during updates.
• Update the DeepWiki workspace and installation documentation; add a portable Finance workspace under examples/workspaces/finance. Document that direct old plugin-directory URLs require changing and older clients must be upgraded before refreshing the forwarding marketplace.

Validation

Using the repository-pinned Bun 1.4.0:

• Final focused run: 73 tests, 191 assertions, across marketplace schemas/parsing, external subdirectories, plugin identity/promotion and skill updates. Independent final re-review passed 53 parsing, external-source and update tests with no unresolved findings.
• bun run typecheck, bun run lint, bun run build, bun run schema:check and bun run docs:build passed. Generated Astro artifacts were excluded.
• Broad local test run: 2,179 passed, 7 skipped, 3 failed. Clean baseline f40533bfc2a63d7686dc67831b87eae9afd8de06 reproduced the same three failures: HTTP initialization cancellation timeout, HTTP termination timeout, and process-creation error handling. The two affected test files passed in isolation (29 passed, 1 skipped). The final parser corrections were checked with the focused run above.

Built CLI checks

Used node dist/index.js --json in disposable version-2 Codex projects with an isolated ALLAGENTS_TEST_HOME; the real home directory was unchanged. Registered the remote candidate with:

Exactly the four Finance skill files installed byte-for-byte, including the unchanged example XLSX; no sibling plugin files were copied. Repeated installation through the legacy allagents forwarding manifest, then workspace sync --offline --scope project, with identical results. plugin install deepwiki@catalogue-review --scope project --client codex --yes installed only its own skill and DeepWiki MCP configuration. workspace init <destination> --from <temporary-finance-template> --client codex installed the same four Finance files.

Because the destination PR remains open, these checks pinned feat/extract-catalogue in the temporary registry/forwarding fixture. For workspace initialization, only the template plugin source was replaced by the registered candidate alias. Production manifests and examples follow destination main once agent-plugins#1 merges. All fixtures were removed. GitHub CI results are attached to this PR. A final built-CLI refinement check also verified that retained AllAgents guidance installs from this repository unchanged from main, and Engineering installs only interactive PR review with no worktree skill/script.
