What to build

Provide an MCP server that exposes mdcode as typed, agent-native tools built on the stable CLI and library contracts.

Acceptance criteria

• The server provides separate typed tools for inspecting blocks, planning changes, applying approved changes, and checking synchronization.
• Tool results use the versioned machine-readable result schema.
• Mutating and execution-capable tools enforce the same safety boundaries as the CLI.
• The server can be installed and configured using documented examples for supported agent clients.
• End-to-end tests cover a read-only inspection flow and an explicitly approved update flow.
