ci: build Python 3.14 wheels - #229
cpmpercussion wants to merge 1 commit into
Conversation
Add cp314 to the cibuildwheel build patterns and a 3.14 classifier, and update cibuildwheel from v2.22 to v4.2.1 (v2.22 predates 3.14 support). PyPy 3.9 and 3.10 are now behind cibuildwheel's pypy-eol flag, so enable it to keep building those wheels. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Any chance you can add python 3.15 wheels to this? It's ABI stable and buildable/uploadable to pypi, would be great to land them both together. |

Will do!

@shauneccles 3.15 wheels are in #232. It's stacked on this PR (it includes this commit plus one for 3.15), so both can land together. The full wheel workflow passed on Linux, macOS and Windows. |
This adds Python 3.14 wheels to the cibuildwheel setup:
pypy-eol, since cibuildwheel moved PyPy 3.9 and 3.10 behind that flag, so those wheels still buildI tested it on my fork: https://github.com/cpmpercussion/python-rtmidi/actions/runs/36222808282. With this, a 1.6.0 release would have wheels for 3.13 and 3.14 (see #217).
