Part of Jurai — a living desktop ecosystem by 0xSrcAura. This piece is one of its public doors.
Jurai's Threshold, seated as an SDDM greeter theme — the lock face of the Jurai shell, carried whole to the greeter: your wallpaper blurred past reading behind a drawn veil, the time in the bell's expressive face with its dial, the portrait badge, and a password field that grows from its middle and breathes prism light. A correct password is welcomed — portrait, name, and the Jurai logotype — before the session begins.
Threshold was written against a small contract (the gate): the face never
learns who checks the password. In the shell it serves the session lock on
PAM and the greetd greeter; this theme is its third host — Main.qml
implements the gate against SDDM (sddm.login, userModel,
sessionModel) and the face's files stand as they are in the shell.
Fūin is one of a pair. Her sister is Kitsune — Ase, the seven-tailed kitsune, whose seven tarot folds bind one by one as the password is typed. Fūin is Jurai's own Threshold, the lock face of the shell; Kitsune is the greeter's mythic door. Two wards of the same house, speaking the same gate idiom: the face never learns who checks the password.
- Drawn QML only — no video, no bundled photograph. Light enough for a
two-core machine; the resting state is the sealed dark door, and
theme.conf'sbackgroundseats any picture of your own. - Bundles the two faces it speaks in — Spectral (expressive) and
Orbitron (technical), SIL Open Font License, in
content/fonts/. - User and session choices live at the foot of the screen, in the face's own typography, and appear only when a real choice exists.
theme.confcarries the knobs: background, fit, density, 24-hour, glass strength, roundness, and the two font families.
See PROVENANCE.txt — what was carried verbatim, what was written for
this seat, and the one repair (a cellHeight the shell's Metrics never
defined, which had silently collapsed the portrait badge's glass).
