What this adds

Before: the community repo had two skills, both about customising Shell:B itself (themes, screensavers). The two skills that ship inside the app (verify-chat, audit-code) weren't in the repo.

After: nine skills. Five new playbooks cover everyday work for ordinary users, and the two built-ins are mirrored here with the same text as the app.

New skills (each names Shell:B's real tools and says what to do when one isn't there):

  • job-application: find openings, tailor a CV and cover letter to one posting, track applications, prepare for interviews. Nothing goes out without the user asking.
  • research-with-sources: search, read and cite sources; separate established, debated and unknown; uses deep_time, marine, wiki and research_board where they fit.
  • writing-feedback: notes on a writer's draft from the big picture down, edits shown rather than silently rewritten, the author's voice kept, a story bible for long projects.
  • summarize-documents: faithful summaries of files, recordings (transcribe), email threads and pages, with meeting-notes and action-item shapes.
  • email-drafting: replies that sound like the user, delicate messages, other languages, inbox triage. Explains that send_email sends from Shell:B's address after approval.

Mirrored from the app: verify-chat (server/verify.py) and audit-code (server/codemap.py). The bodies match the app's text exactly. The README now says they come with Shell:B. A companion Shell-B PR makes the Hub show them as installed instead of offering an install that would fail.

Checklist

  • skills/<name>/SKILL.md with front matter name (= folder), description (what + when), author, license (SPDX id)
  • The description says when to use the skill; the body is a playbook with steps, not a note
  • Anything bundled (scripts, templates, references) is referenced from SKILL.md and is mine or credited (nothing bundled)
  • No credentials, no network calls to private services, nothing that assumes a tool Shell:B doesn't have (every tool named was checked against server/)
  • python3 -I scripts/validate.py runs clean; index.json and the README listing are committed as generated

Not yet tried end to end with a local model in Shell:B.
