Closes #789.
Unchanged Code OSS uses
object-fitandobject-positionfor avatars, thumbnails, account imagery, extension surfaces, and session UI. WebScene previously stretched every retained image to its layout box and exposed neither property. This change adds generated native/managed property identities and CSSOM aliases, browser-shaped computed serialization, intrinsic
fill/contain/cover/none/scale-downgeometry, one/two-component positioning, content-box and rounded clipping, and paint-only invalidation. The provider-neutral scene commands cover raster and SVG images; Flutter now preserves rectangular clips when SVG drawing is deferred.Authored gates cover CSSOM/cascade behavior, exact retained-scene geometry, rounded raster clipping, deferred Flutter SVG pixels, and 4,096 image transitions with zero added layout passes. Per the current fast-merge direction, no build, test, WPT, visual, package, or performance command was run; evidence remains zero and is recorded in
docs/validation/code-oss-object-fit-789.md.Source review and
git diff --checkpassed.
