Parent: #687. Consumer: SceneTech/AppScene#306. Existing shared-image ABI: Windows D3D12/DXGI v3 transport and AppScene #232/#233, #234/#235, #238/#239.
Publish a size/versioned C ABI from the sealed win-x64 Dawn SDK that validates a live public WGPUDevice through WebScene's private Dawn registry and returns the exact borrowed D3D12 device, direct command queue, adapter LUID, and public adapter/device tokens. AppScene needs this reusable seam to build its Graphite presentation context and DXGI swap chain on the same Dawn device/queue without private Dawn headers, duplicate GPU devices, CPU readback, or a product-local renderer.
The query must reject null, incompatible, foreign, non-D3D12, lost, and invalid-identity devices before private dereference; leave output unchanged on failure; keep the caller-owned WGPUDevice as the lifetime authority; and add no steady-state frame work. Patch and stage the bridge only for win-x64, include the exact source/header and export list in the graphics SDK manifest, and fail verification when any bridge artifact or symbol is missing.
Author ABI/layout, registry/lifetime, foreign/lost device, backend mismatch, exact LUID/device/queue identity, export, installed SDK, no-copy, and zero-steady-state-cost gates. Execution remains deferred under the current fast implementation direction; AppScene owns Windows host consumption and VM/product acceptance.
