Uninstall

Uninstalling

Drag the QuickLook Video app to the Trash.

Alternatively, if you installed using Homebrew, uninstall with:

brew remove --cask quicklook-video

Uninstalling versions < 1.99

Older versions of QuickLook Video were installed and uninstalled in a different way. To uninstall, copy the following and paste into the Terminal app, press Enter, and enter your password:

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/QLVideo ~/Library/QuickLook/Video.qlgenerator ~/Library/Spotlight/Video.mdimporter
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/QLVideo /Library/QuickLook/Video.qlgenerator /Library/Spotlight/Video.mdimporter
