Adds a guide for Local Commander to MCP Servers, next to Google Workspace and Salesforce. Local Commander is a hosted MCP server (
https://localcmd.app/mcp, streamable HTTP, OAuth with dynamic client registration) that lets a model work on files, Git, commands and local services on computers the user approves.Changes:
content/docs/mcp_servers/local_commander.mdx: the guide (English).content/docs/mcp_servers/meta.json: sidebar entry.content/docs/mcp_servers/index.mdx: a card on the MCP Server Guides page.Tested on LibreChat
librechat-dev:latest(Docker,http://localhost:3080) with exactly thelibrechat.yamlblock in the guide: MCP Settings showed Needs Auth, Connect > Continue with OAuth opened the consent screen, and after approval LibreChat loaded 26 tools. A chat with a local model (Qwen3 4B via LM Studio as a custom endpoint) then calledworkspace_listsuccessfully. Two findings from that test are in the Troubleshooting section: the 10-minute OAuth flow timeout, and the tool descriptions needing roughly 18k tokens of context with local models.I maintain Local Commander. Translations are left to your translation workflow.
