Change

Add standalone integration tests, a 30,000-SST experiment runner and SST/resource analysis. Document common CLI tasks, recovery and long-running agent goals.

Add Go formatting, naming, documentation, complexity, race and vulnerability checks. Only a pushed v* tag builds and publishes Linux/macOS amd64/arm64 archives and Linux amd64/arm64 GHCR images. PRs and ordinary branch workflows run checks only. Builds use standard GitHub runners.

Validation

  • Passed: make check, make lint with golangci-lint v2.15.0, and actionlint.
  • An earlier integration suite passed against standalone revision 351f4207b4446e48befc02b03779849013fc2886, including tied-timestamp samples, authentication, pause/resume and concurrent busy rejection.
  • Previously verified locally: binary archives, Docker build/smoke checks and govulncheck (no reachable vulnerabilities reported).
  • Deterministic 30,000-SST sampling, bounded/converge evidence checks, and release retry shell tests passed locally. These do not replace real-server or publishing tests.
  • Release publication has not been run. Windows is not supported. The large experiment requires an external fixture and is not part of PR CI.

Stack

Part 2 of 2, based on compaction/core. Review this layer against that branch. Merge the core layer first.

Compatibility

No CLI contract changes in this layer. Real-server tests remain explicit local commands. State and output formats are documented; the Go review guide requires preserving them during internal refactors.
