Summary

Resolved 30 of the 45 Intel CPU slugs that #266 skipped because the same model appeared on more than one Wikipedia row. A field was changed only when the rows for that exact record agree, or when socket, segment, clock, or TDP picks one row. verified was left as stored. Fifteen slugs are still unresolved.

Resolved

Core 2 Duo release dates

List of Intel Core mobile processors. For these models the socket row and the BGA row give the same month. The stored dates were month-start placeholders more than 60 days off.

  • intel-core2-duo-t5500: release_date 2009-02-01 → 2006-08-28. Socket M row (record socket PGA478) is 28 August 2006; the BGA479 row is August 2006. Moved to 2006/.

  • intel-core2-duo-p8400: release_date 2008-12-01 → 2008-06-13. Socket P row is 13 June 2008; the FC-BGA478 row is June 2008.
  • intel-core2-duo-p8600: release_date 2008-12-01 → 2008-06-01. Both rows June 2008.
  • intel-core2-duo-p8700: release_date 2009-03-01 → 2008-12-01. Both rows December 2008. Moved to 2008/.
  • intel-core2-duo-u7600: release_date 2009-02-01 → 2007-04-01. Both FCBGA rows April 2007. Moved to 2007/.

Other fields

  • intel-core2-duo-e8335: base_clock_ghz 2.66 → 2.93. Both Penryn iMac rows use multiplier 11 on a 1066 MHz bus (2.93 GHz). TDP still disagrees (44 W in April 2008 versus 35 W in March 2009), so TDP and the date were left alone.
  • intel-celeron-900: release_date 2009-08-01 → 2009-03-01. Penryn-3M row on the Celeron list: 1 core, 2.2 GHz, 35 W, March 2009. The Coppermine and mobile "Celeron 900" rows are 900 MHz parts.
  • intel-celeron-2-00ghz: release_date 2009-02-01 → 2002-09-18. Northwood-128 desktop row (2.0 GHz, 52.8 W, 18 September 2002, Socket 478). The stored 53 W is that figure as an integer; the Willamette-128 row is 71.2 W. Moved to 2002/.
  • mobile-intel-celeron-2-00ghz: release_date 2009-03-01 → 2003-01-14; tdp_w null → 32. Mobile Celeron 2.0 row (2.0 GHz, 32 W, 14 January 2003). Moved to 2003/.
  • intel-celeron-j4125: release_date 2020-02-01 → 2019-11-01. Both Gemini Lake Refresh rows are 4 cores, 10 W, FC-BGA 1090; one says November 2019 and the other Q4 2019. Moved to 2019/.
  • intel-xeon-gold-5215: release_date 2019-12-01 → 2019-04-02. Both Cascade Lake rows are sSpec SRFBC, part CD8069504214002. The quad-processor row says 2 April 2019; the dual-processor row says Q2 2019. The stored 2.5 GHz base already matches the 2.5/3.4 GHz row. The other row's 3.0/3.4 GHz is all-core turbo versus maximum turbo.

Unresolved

  • intel-core2-duo-p7350: both rows are 2.0 GHz and 25 W, and only say "Mid 2008".
  • intel-core2-duo-p7450: both rows are January 2009, 2.13 GHz, 25 W. The stored 2009-02-01 is within 60 days. Socket PGA478 matches the Socket P row.
  • intel-core2-duo-p8800: both rows only say "Q2 2009".
  • intel-core2-duo-u7500: FCBGA Socket M, April 2007, versus FCBGA Socket P, February 2008. Stored socket BGA479 fits both.
  • intel-core2-duo-u7700: FCBGA Socket M, December 2007, versus FCBGA Socket P, February 2008. Stored socket is null.
  • intel-core2-duo-e8135: 2.66 GHz selects the two March 2009 Socket P rows (the April 2008 row is 2.40 GHz). Those two still disagree on TDP, 44 W versus 35 W, and the stored TDP is null.
  • intel-core2-duo-e8435: both rows are 3.06 GHz on Socket P. TDP is 55 W (April 2008) versus 44 W (March 2009). The stored 2009-03-01 does not identify the stepping.
  • celeron-d-330: the LGA 775 row is already 2.667 GHz, 73 W, 24 June 2004. The Socket 478 row has the same clock, TDP, and date. Celeron D 330J is a different model (84 W, 22 September 2004).
  • intel-xeon-3040: Conroe, 26 September 2006, versus Allendale, 21 January 2007. 1.86 GHz matches both. The stored 2009-11-01 matches neither.
  • intel-xeon-3050: same split, 26 September 2006 versus 21 January 2007. 2.13 GHz matches both.
  • celeron-d-320, celeron-d-325, celeron-d-335: no TechAPI record.
  • core-m3: a family header, not one SKU. The m3-6Y30, m3-7Y30, m3-7Y32, and m3-8100Y records are separate.
  • core-ultra-x9: a family header on List of Intel processors, not a SKU.
  • mobile-pentium-mmx-166: no mobile record. pentium-mmx-166 is the desktop P55C part.

Validation

PYTHONIOENCODING=utf-8 python -m app.validate passed.

Closes #296

Correct release dates, one clock, and two TDPs where the Wikipedia rows for that exact record agree, and move changed-year files to the matching directory.
The Northwood-128 row lists 52.8 W. The CPU field is an integer, and 53 W is that value already stored.
