Pratik Vuln Scanner

A blazing-fast, terminal-based vulnerability scanner for Python packages, utilizing the NIST National Vulnerability Database (NVD). Created by Pratik Roy.

Quickstart

# 1. Clone and install
git clone https://github.com/FirewallWiz/Vulnerability-Scanner.git
cd pratik-vuln-scanner
pip install -e .

# 2. Scan a package instantly
pratik-vuln-scanner -p busybox -v 1.31.1

Key Features

• Multiple Formats: Export reports as Markdown, HTML, or JSON (--format).
• Severity Filters: Cut the noise by only showing serious threats (--min-severity HIGH).
• Batch Processing: Scan hundreds of dependencies via CSV.

Usage

Scan a single package:

pratik-vuln-scanner -p busybox -v 1.31.1

Scan a CSV file & export to HTML:

pratik-vuln-scanner -f packages.csv --format html -o report.html

(Note: API keys are optional, but if you have an NVD API key, set it as the NVD_API_KEY environment variable to bypass rate limits!)
