What

Release commit for HUD v0.9.0 (minor: the version position was explicitly requested by the maintainer; 0.x convention would otherwise be a patch).

• package.json / kimi.plugin.json to 0.9.0
• CHANGELOG.md: [0.9.0] - 2026-10-23 covering PR feat: provider usage quotas and balances for 15 API-key providers #59 (15-provider usage/balance display, monthly label mo, cross-provider display-name fail-closed) and PR docs: advance Kimi Code baseline to 2.3.1 #60 (Kimi Code baseline 2.2.0 to 2.3.1); link block moved forward
• CAPABILITIES.md / KNOWN_ISSUES.md: HUD behavior baseline v0.9.0 (bd8a481), Last verified 2026-10-23; KI-22 marked fixed in v0.9.0 (PR feat: provider usage quotas and balances for 15 API-key providers #59), KI-23 loses the prep-branch qualifier
• docs/showcase/*.html: HUD_VERSION = '0.9.0' (CLI_VERSION stays 2.3.1)
• docs/media/hud-states.png / hud-demo.png regenerated and verified by reading them back

Verification

• KIMI_HUD_RELEASE_CHECK=1 node --test test/release-metadata.test.mjs - 9 pass, 1 skip (the "behavior commit after its tag" check skips by design until v0.9.0 exists)
• npm test - 826 tests, 824 pass, 2 skip (1 pre-existing + the same tag-absent skip)
• git diff --check - clean
• Image read-back: title bar Kimi Code Hud 0.9.0, welcome Version: 2.3.1, quota 5h/7d bars present, provisional 52 t/s / TTFT 10.2s and unconfirmed max effort dimmed, both PNGs carry Author=FinbackYu

The v0.9.0 tag will be created on the squash-merged main commit after this merges.
