Second and last part of redirect mode (SPEC §2.4, §2.5), decided 2026-10-23.

  • Re-base: a new base URI or IRI mode now also moves the user's own references to the project's IRIs. That covers form values and kept triples, entity and hash IRIs, and other IRIs under the old base such as profile IRIs.
    • The rewriter doesn't double a prefix when the new base extends the old one.
    • Before the first publish this is silent; afterwards the settings (and the guided setup) ask first, explaining that every IRI changes and the Index sees a new FDP. Declining keeps the old base.
  • Guided setup: "Where do the IRIs live?" offers the GitHub Pages address, a custom domain, or w3id.org. The w3id choice sets redirect mode with the files on the repository's Pages, and the settings then show the w3id rules.
  • Guide: the w3id section (from Redirect mode: w3id rules and the redirect check #45), the hosting choice and "Changing the base URI later", in all six languages.
  • Catalogs: each language now uses the settings' names for the two modes everywhere (e.g. "Weiterleitungsmodus"), not "redirect"/"file" in some messages.
  • Checked in Chromium (wizard with w3id, no axe violations). 212 tests and type-check pass.

Redirect mode is complete. An end-to-end pilot needs a real w3id identifier, which is the owner's call.

Changing the base URI or the IRI mode now also moves the user's own
references to the project's IRIs (forms and kept triples). After the
first publish FDPlight asks first, since every IRI changes. The guided
setup offers w3id.org (redirect mode, files on Pages). Guide updated in
six languages; the mode names in the catalogs now match the settings.
