Hi, I'm Arya, a software engineer.
I design and build complete software systems, from the structure and
servers to the data and the screens people use.
Specialties System design, backend development, data platforms
Education M.Sc. Computer Science, TU Dresden
Background Electronics engineering, then softwareHZDR · Working student, Scientific Data Management
HZDR is a Helmholtz research center. I help build the software scientists use to find, organize and share their research data, mainly on HELIPORT and PaN-Space. PaN-Space brings data search, storage, analysis tools and training for European photon and neutron research into one place.
TU Dresden · M.Sc. Computer Science
Specializing in System Architecture, Visual Computing & Machine Learning, and Computer Engineering & High Performance Computing.
Founding team member, system architect & lead engineer at Parallel Parking Solutions
Parallel is a parking startup that lets lots run without gates, paper tickets or pay machines. As part of the founding team, I designed the full technical system and built and launched it end to end.
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Automatic plate recognition | Cameras read license plates to track each parking session and spot violations automatically |
| Automatic payments | Drivers are billed in real time and pay automatically through Stripe |
| Driver app | Free spots, live occupancy, payment and violation alerts, parking history (Android) |
| Operator dashboard | Parking, payments and enforcement in one place, with insights that help recover up to 20% in lost revenue |
| Behind the scenes | Servers, AWS setup, automated testing and deployment, analytics, internal tools |
Built with: Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, AWS (EBS, RDS), Stripe
A platform that automates customer messages for businesses. It imports contact lists, groups customers and sends follow-ups on WhatsApp, SMS and email at the right time, without spamming anyone. Several businesses can use it at once, each with their own data.
import contacts → group them → schedule follow-ups → send → track resultsBuilt with: Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ, NextAuth
| Area | |
|---|---|
| Languages | Java, TypeScript, Python, C++ |
| Backend | Spring Boot, Node.js, REST APIs, Prisma |
| Frontend | React, Next.js, dashboards |
| Data | PostgreSQL, Redis, data modeling, data pipelines, research metadata (FAIR, DataCite) |
| Cloud & DevOps | AWS, CI/CD, Linux |
| Also | System design, computer vision (OpenCV), embedded systems |
- PaN-Space: Photon and Neutron Data Management Environment for EOSC, poster, HZDR, 2026, with Martin Voigt, David Pape and Oliver Knodel
- Real-Time Intelligent Surveillance System, IEEE ICASI, 2024
- Optimal Urban Emergency Routing Using Real-Time Audio Recognition and Graph Theory-Based Path Planning, Springer ICICC, 2024
I started in electronics engineering, working on car electronics and smart devices, before moving fully into software.
- Bosch Global Software Technologies, summer intern: automated the setup of communication between car control units (CAN and ECUs) for a car manufacturer, making their development faster.
- Bosch Global Software Technologies, software developer intern: built a real-time system for a car manufacturer that monitors tire condition using machine learning, with results shown in a mobile app.
- PESU C-IoT, machine learning intern: built a self-navigating vehicle using computer vision, and sped up traffic sign data processing with Python and OpenCV.
