Update docs template to pull current version from a json file

Currently on every deployment every single page is updated with the version as it is listed in the header. This is only a deployment problem, but it would be better if the version number was only updated in one place, and pulled by js to display in the header on each static page.

This is also a problem with tsdoc, but possibly not fixable.
