Uh oh!

In DcpIdentityService, the scope is validated against a specific regular-expression format, whereas in SecureTokenService.createToken() the scope parameter is marked as @nullable.
In my scenario, I am attempting to create an initial version of the dataspace that operates without validating any Verifiable Credentials (VCs). My intention was to use an empty scope for certain requests (for example, catalog requests). However, this results in an invalid scope string error due to the scope validation.
My goal is to allow catalog requests to be executed without requiring any VC validation and without relying on the mock Identity Hub (IH). Is there a possibility to configure it in EDC or it needs an implementation of custom IdentityService(may be extend the DcpIdentityService where its allows empty scope and still works for valid scope string if set)?
