Downloading or reading of the image took too long! (1.21.6 Fabric)

Uploading an image fails after sending a messaging saying "Downloading or reading of the image took too long!" Below is an imgur link showing the issue. I have tried with other images (including ones that are 128 x 128 pixels) but it held the same result.

Edit: I've tried rebooting, it yields the same issue. I've tried loading into an earlier version of the game and mod (1.20.1) and it says invalid image.

Im having the same issues , images apparently take too long even with images ive tried before

I've just tested and it won't work with webp images. In my case a png worked.
